Sagar was born in Dolakha district close to Gaurishankar Himalayan Range. After the completion of his school level study, he came to Kathmandu. And there, he met his elder friends and villagers who were working with foreigners as a Guide or a Porter. Then, he too thought to join the Tourism industry and started working as a Porter. He used to continue his studies during his leisure time. After two years of his hard work as a Porter, he did 45 days of legal training from Government. And then, he started collecting his much more experience in the Mountains.
Now, he did already spend his 14 years as a Trekking Guide in Nepal Himalaya. He is a veteran and the most experienced team member who has done trekking in almost every region of Nepal. He is very strong and has the capacity to deal with any kinds of difficulties during the high trekking destinations. He speaks very good English and also has collected some experience of guiding in India and as well in Tibet. He is renowned for his High altitude guiding and also is an experienced campaigner for camping treks.
