    The temple of Muktinath and its premises are regarded as the most sacred pilgrimage place for the Hindu religion. There is an influx of tourists from all parts of Nepal and India.

    The unique natural elements excite you at Muktinath. The display of miraculous flickering blue flames of natural methane gas burning on water, stone, and earth in an offering said to have been first lighted by Brahma, the Hindu creator.

    Muktinath purity goes back into the antiquity of thousands of years when you could observe the sight of natural power. On the route around Kaligandaki Valley, pilgrims search for glossy black fossils called Shaligram (ammonite), found in abundance around Kaligandaki River banks.

    On the outside, they look like small rounded rocks but split open,, revealing the imprint of ammonites formed 140 million years ago. Because of its wheel-like shape, the Shaligram is associated with the Hindu god Vishnu.

    Best Seasons: March to May and September to December are the best months for a Photography tour in Jomsom and Muktinath. Monsoon, wet months from mid-June to August is the months to avoid. March to May is the best time for clear views till the afternoon with fantastic views of mountains. A day will be pleasant with cooler morning and nighttime.

      Reach Kathmandu via various international airline and transfer to hotel.

      Fly to Pokhara 860 m (30 mins by air) and transfer to hotel by the lake Phewa.

      Morning starts with short drive to Kathmandu domestic airport for sweeping scenic flight to reach at scenic and magnificent Pokhara city. This city is blessed with natural beauty of mountains and lakes, truly a romantic spot for Honey-Moon holidays.

      On reaching at Pokhara airport, transfer to your hotel by the side of serene Lake Phewa with awesome views of Annapurna Himalaya with majestic peak Machhapuchare or Fish Tail. You will get time in the afternoon for walks around the lake sides, where most of the shops, stores, restaurants, hotels and resorts are located.

      Fly to Jomsom 2,715 m and drive to Muktinath 3,800 m – 02 hrs.

      With an overnight stop in Pokhara and an early morning transfer to Pokhara airport for a short scenic flight to Jomsom. On the flight, enjoy the views of beautiful mountains and then land at Jomsom airport, located on the shelf of the Kali-Gandaki River.

      Jomsom is headquartered town of the Mustang district. Till now we have been having a journey by air. The first-day trek begins on the Kali-Gandaki river valley around Windswept country.

      From Jomsom, the trail leads along Kaligandaki plains, where the walk leads you past Eklai-Bhatti village. And then, walking on a gradual winding uphill route above the river bed takes you to holy Muktinath (The highest spot of the trip)

      Muktinath is located between popular Annapurna Circuit trekking routes from Manang via the high pass of Thorang la. The trail also joins here, coming from the upper Mustang photography region; at the auspicious time, this place is flooded with pilgrims of both Hindu and Buddhist.

      There is a great photo opportunity along the walks from Jomsom and Muktinath areas.

    • Day04

      At Muktinath free day with tour of holy temple sites with mountain views.

      Enjoy morning views of Dhaulagiri and Nilgiri’s peaks within Muktinath. The history of the  Muktinath temple goes back to the antiquity of thousands of years. Hindus and Buddhists go on the pilgrimage to this sight of natural power.

      In the morning, visit the Temple of Muktinath and its 108 water spout, one of the sources of the Kaligandaki River. Rest of the afternoon, visit the village around Muktinath and immerse in its culture and traditional life.

      Morning visit Muktinath and drive back to Jomsom via Kagbeni.

      The morning includes an optional walk to Muktinath Temple. The afternoon after a holy visit, drive back to Jomsom town for the last overnight in a nice lodge around the Mustang area.

      Jomsom area from Kagbeni to Larjung is famous for delicious apples and products, cider, brandy, and juice. Celebrate last night's dinner with staff and other members.

    • Day06

      Fly to Pokhara 860 m from Jomsom – 20 mins and transfer to hotel.

      Our last day of this amazing journey around Muktinath and Mustang area concludes with short scenic flight from Jomsom to Pokhara. Then stay overnight in Pokhara, a scenic spot by its serene Phewa Lake, where Annapurna Himal reflects on its pristine calm waters.

    • Day07

      Drive back to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.

      With early morning nature activities after breakfast, an enjoyable, exciting drive takes you back to Kathmandu. Drive leads on the same highway to Mugling town, a junction between Pokhara-Chitwan and the road to Kathmandu.

      The drive continues following Trisuli River upstream for a few hours and then uphill to reach Kathmandu Valley. From the highest point of the valley rim(Thankot), a short drive of an hour reaches you back in the hustle-bustle city life of Kathmandu. And then transfer to your hotel with the afternoon free for individual activities and shopping for souvenirs.

      Depart Kathmandu for international departure homeward bound.

      Finally, all good things must end with great memories and exciting experiences with a wonderful time on Jomsom-Muktinath Photography Tour. On your final day in Nepal, a country of Himalayan wonder, our staff and guide will transfer you to Kathmandu international airport.
