After a lovely walk within deep green woodland of tall rhododendron and pine trees, enter a barren rocky terrain at holy Gosainkunda.  This is regarded as the holiest of holy pilgrimage spots by both Hindu and Buddhism followers.

In August, a great religious festival takes place, with thousands of pilgrimage visits to worship and dip and bathe in the sacred Gosainkunda pond. It’s also an exciting place to experience the holy things on this beautiful trek.

With special time around the holy Gosainkunda, a walk leads to climbing, traversing over a high Gosainkunda-la or Laurebina pass to reach another eastern side of Langtang Himal. A walk leads past the friendly villages of Kutumsang and Patti Bhanjyang and goes to Chisapani. It is located on a ridge and offers incredible mountain range views along with stunning sunrise.
