Trip Overview

This affordable Everest Base Camp trek has especially been designed by Eco Holidays Nepal to satisfy trekkers with limited time and budget. And, even so, who wants to walk at the world's highest base camp, Everest Base Camp (5,364 m)?

This cheap Everest Base Camp trek is also called the Budget Everest Base Camp Trek. Similarly, this is just a trek to Everest Base Camp, which means a short trek in Nepal with minimal services provided by the company. You can also check out our other similar package, the Short Everest Base Camp Trek, which is also 10 days and is also quite affordable for trek lovers.

Budget trekkers who have only 10 days but still want to experience the entire majestic Everest Region find it astounding. The word cheap here doesn’t actually denote that the quality and service are downgraded. This itinerary is made only to make the budget clients happy by conquering the world's highest base camp.

A short scenic flight to Lukla, Lukla town (2820 m), Sagarmatha National Park and its alpine flora and fauna, Namche Bazaar and its surroundings, Tengboche Monastery, Gorakh Shep, Kalapatthar, and Everest Base Camp are notable highlights of this affordable Everest Base Camp trek.

Similarly, we can explore friendly and hospitable Sherpa people and their culture in our inexpensive Everest Base Camp Trek. The spectacular mountain views, including Pumori, Lohtse, Nupse, Makalu, and Mt. Everest (you may read our blog: Where is Mount Everest located?), the top of the world with a stunning sunrise from Kalapatthar and Everest Base Camp, will be the view for a lifetime.

The cheap Everest Base Camp trek begins from Lukla after a short, scenic flight from Kathmandu. On the same day, we begin our trekking to Phakding. Monjo is the beginning point of Sagarmatha National Park. We have an opportunity to experience endangered species of flora and fauna in Sagarmatha National Park, the national park located at the highest altitude in the world.

Next, Namche Bazaar is another attraction of the inexpensive Everest Base Camp Trek. Tibetan Market, the incredible view of Amadablam, and the Sherpa Cultural Museum are the primary fascinations of Namche Bazar. We explore Tengboche Monastery and trek to Gorakhshep via Dingboche and Lobuche.

Then a climb early in the morning takes us to Kalapatthar, and we celebrate spectacular mountain views, including the highest mountain in the world, Mt. Everest. Our further venture to Everest Base Camp makes this adventure trek memorable for a lifetime.

The cheap Everest Base Camp trek doesn’t include acclimatization on the trail. So, trekkers should be confident and have sound stamina. A good level of physical and mental fitness is required for the cheap Everest Base Camp trek. Read the article on foreigners' guide to trekking in Nepal.

Additionally, fantastic views of mountains where a pleasant day with cooler morning and nighttime. Alike, October to December is another best time for clear views of peaks. Short sunlight days can be freezing cold in the morning and nighttime. This depends upon the altitude and overnight stop.

Customer Reviews

  • We had planned to go on every base camp trek, and my friend booked the hotel online. We were planning to go to Nepal and book tickets for the EBC trek. However, we later realized that we needed a guide for the trek, along with a travel permit and all the necessary documentation. We were all quite anxious. Then, I found Eco Holidays Nepal and contacted them. They managed everything for us, and I was amazed by their service. They even helped us book accommodation in Namche Bazar without requiring full payment upfront. I was also surprised when they came to the airport to pick us up and drop us off at our hotel. They handled all the services, and I was truly impressed. I want to thank the entire Eco Holidays Nepal team for their exceptional help.
