(National flower of the country.)
At Ghorepani, with scenic views of the Dhaulagiri range, a morning hike takes you to top Poon Hill at above 3,210 m high. Poonhill will provide striking sunrise views over the chain of Himalayan peaks that cover Nepal North Mid-West to Mid-East and as far as the Far Western Himalaya range.
After a glorious moment with views, the walk continues on, leaving the main trekking route. So we will be heading towards the complete wilderness past a few farm villages to reach our high destination at Khopra Ridgetop. This top is facing a mind-blowing panorama of the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna range of mountains. Moreover, a day is arranged for relaxation or an exciting hike to the holy lake of Khair for more views of this scenic area.
With a great mesmerizing time around the high Khopra ridge, our journey heads back to Pokhara. Through an alternative route, walk into dense alpine woodland to reach the main trekking trails. That leads to large nice villages at Ghandruk, home to the Gurung people, the prominent tribe of Annapurna Himalaya.
From Ghandruk, downhill to the road, head for an exciting drive reaching at a beautiful city in Pokhara. Enjoy calm Phewa Lake, where our wonderful adventure Annapurna Khopra Ridge Trekking completes.
