Trip Overview
Poon Hill Trek 5 Days with Hot Spring is an extended version of Poon hill trek 3 days and Poon hill trek 4 days. It encompasses two significant highlights of trekking in the Annapurna Himalayas of Nepal: spectacular sunrise and mountain views from Poon hill and natural hot springs at Jhino Danda (Hill).
Walking through picturesque traditional settlements and core wilderness into the lush forest and natural waterfalls takes us to the most famous mountain viewpoint in the Annapurna region, Poonhill. We celebrate the moments of our life there to witness incredible sunrise and mountain peaks towering just in front of our eyes.
Next, passing through other beautiful settlements, we arrive at Jhino Danda, where we dip our exhausted bodies into the natural lukewarm water, which relaxes us completely. Along with these, the local people and their unique culture are astonishing on the trail.
Poon Hill Trek 5 Days begin in the serene city of Pokhara. We take a short ride from Pokhara to Nayapool, where the hiking to Poonhill begins. Now, from Nayapool, we ascend via picturesque traditional settlements, lush rhododendron forests and cascading natural waterfalls.
Similarly, we will also encounter and interact with local ethnic people and try to be familiar with their culture. Spending the nights at local teahouses with a relaxed and fresh atmosphere and enjoying organic dishes will be the moments of your life during this Poonhill Hot Spring Trek.
Further, the ascent takes us uphill of Ulleri. We have to hit more than 3000 stone steps while passing Ulleri, and the trail finally takes us to Ghorepani. Till we get to Ghorepani, we walk via deep woods and melodious waterfalls.
Ghorepani is a beautiful town in the lap of the Annapurna Himalayas facing directly to the Annapurna massif and giant Dhaulagiri. This town is the base camp for the Poonhill climb. Climbing Poonhill early in the morning before sunrise will be astounding.
Then, we wait for the stunning sunrise and capture delightful moments of hitting the sun's rays on the snow-fed mountain. We witness the fabulous mighty Dhaulagiri, Annapurna massif, Machhapuchhre, Manaslu, Himchuli, and Ganesh Himal from Poonhill. After the Poonhill hike, we still enjoy the trek, natural waterfalls, and lush forest. We trek to Chuile via Tadapani.
Jhino, Hot Spring is another attraction of this trek at the end. We have a beautiful town in the lap of Annapurna Mountain, which offers an opportunity to experience natural hot springs.
So, those enjoying hot springs in modern cities will hardly believe in seeing the incredible natural hot springs at the bank of the Modi River. Finally, we trek back to Nayapool and take another ride to Pokhara to end our Poon Hill Trek 5 days with Hot Spring.

A Nature-filled Birthday Celebration in Nepal with Eco Holidays
My family and I planned a special celebration for my son's birthday. We discussed where to go and made a list of various countries, but since my son loves nature, we all decided on Nepal as the perfect destination for the celebration. We thought trekking would be the best way to celebrate, so we planned to go to Poon Hill. We contacted Eco Holidays Nepal and Mr. Dhruba Dharel, who gave us great advice and provided a helpful packing list. Once we arrived in Nepal, we started our trek with our guide, reached Poon Hill, and celebrated the birthday. I believe this was the best family celebration we've ever had.
