Depending upon the time and day, Paragliding starts from early 6 a.m. If the day is promising with a clear sky, it can also be done during mid-day. But the best time for paragliding in Sarangkot would be early morning.
Depart from the hotel at Pokhara morning by 6 or 6: 30 a.m. If you want to catch the sunrise, then get prepared even earlier. Next, our Paragliding team and staff will pick you up for a short ride. As the drive leads on the hill slope with a winding road, pass Pokhara's town and city areas to reach Sarankot Hilltop.
Afterward, enjoy the sunrise view over the Annapurna-Dhaulagiri range with Machhapuchare Himal towards Manaslu. And then get ready for the glide, where our expert and professional will instruct. That will brief safety measures and information on wind and breeze current or speed.
Also, they will instruct you on how to land and maneuver the Paragliding for safety; (our guide will escort and accompany you on this tandem flight). You feel like a bird as you run a few yards up and away into the air floating like a cool breeze. This will wake you to face alluring views of mountains and landscapes scenery.
Para-glide for 30 mins to an hour, floating in the air with a close backdrop of mountain views. Gliding alongside hawks with majestic views of Lake Phewa
Paragliding from Sarangkot in Pokhara is world-famous for a reason, and it lived up to every bit of hype! Running off the hill and suddenly floating weightlessly in the sky was pure bliss. My pilot successfully located warm thermals, allowing us to soar high above the valley alongside wild hawks. Below us, Phewa Lake sparkled like a mirror, while the entire Annapurna mountain range stretched out right across the horizon. We even did a few high-G spiral maneuvers over the lake before a gentle landing on the shore. Unforgettable!

Pokhara is world-famous for paragliding for a reason and launching from Sarangkot exceeds every bit of hype. You take off into the sky and instantly have Phewa Lake sparkling thousands of feet below you while Mount Fishtail and the Annapurna range loom massively in front. Performing a few acrobatic wing-overs before landing smoothly on the lakeside shore was the absolute highlight of my time in Pokhara.

An Amazing View of Nepal from the Sky
I had a great experience paragliding in Nepal with Eco Holidays Nepal. The whole activity was exciting but also felt safe and well organized. Flying over the beautiful landscape and seeing the mountains from the air was something I will never forget. The staff and pilot were friendly, professional, and explained everything clearly before the flight. I especially enjoyed the peaceful feeling of being up in the air and looking down at the scenery. It was definitely one of the highlights of my trip to Nepal, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun adventure and a different way to see the country.
