These rugged terrains of the region are pretty challenging, even for the most experienced trekkers. But what if you could add some dash of luxury to this challenging trekking itinerary? The Everest Base Camp luxury trek package from "Eco Holiday Nepal" is specially designed for this reason.

This outstanding luxury package provides you with the best of both worlds. You will have a rugged adventure while enjoying luxurious facilities. Trekking relaxed will allow you to explore the Himalayan foothills in all their glory.

The luxury Everest Base Camp trek includes a helicopter return to Kathmandu from Kalapathar. This factor significantly reduces the trek's difficulty and lets you complete the tour quickly. The helicopter ride is a comfortable journey accommodating a maximum of 5 people.

Besides that, the trek package offers you the best possible luxuries in the Himalayan region. While staying in 5-star accommodations in Kathmandu, you will stay in luxury lodges along the trail. These lodges have added facilities of hot showers, attached bathrooms, massage, electronic charging, Wi-Fi, etc.

You will also get varied meal options in these places, which is quite a luxury in such high altitudes. A professional guide with many years of experience will accompany you for safe navigation along the trails. Moreover, porters will carry your luggage so that you can trek freely without any hassle.

Furthermore, many local settlements in the area are dominated by the Sherpas. They are the indigenous mountain community who are heavily involved in trekking and mountaineering activities. Many Buddhist heritages and monuments along the trails include monasteries, mani walls, chortens, stone inscriptions, and prayer flags.

Our journey starts as you fly to Lukla from Kathmandu on a morning flight. You will start your trekking adventure to the beautiful destination of Phakding from Lukla. The trails of this section are pretty scenic and pass alongside the Dudh Koshi River. As you move on the trek, you will arrive at the forested areas of Sagarmatha National Park.

You can show your permits and move to Namche through Monjo and Jorsale. The river valley trail leads you to the vibrant town of Namche Bazaar. Our acclimatization journey begins in this village, as there are several hiking points. You can hike up to Khumjung to observe scenic Himalayan peaks.

The next stop on the route is Tengboche, where we offer our prayers in the monastery. As the topography of the region changes, the vegetation gets depleted as you arrive at Dingboche. The view of Khumbu Icefall and other snow-clad mountains, including Nuptse, Lhotse, etc., is enchanting. The course then takes you through the beautiful landscapes to reach the Lobuche settlement.

You will reach Gorak Shep from Lobuche, taking you one step closer to EBC. A hike to the Everest Base Camp trek is quite an exciting part of the journey. After arriving at the base camp, you can explore and take as many pictures as possible. You will return to Gorak Shep for the night before hiking early the following day to Kalapathar.

From this viewpoint, you can observe Everest from its newest angle. The trip ends after an incredible 11 days as you take a heli ride back to Kathmandu. The luxurious heli ride also allows you to observe the Himalayas from the top from a different perspective. You will pass above the settlements you trekked in earlier on a comfortable helicopter journey.
