    The best time of the year for the Mardi Himal Trek 5 days is Autumn ( Sep- Nov). However, Spring( Mar-May) is equally considered as the finest time of the year as Autumn. We do not recommend you make your Mardi Himal Trek during Winter and Summer.

    We use very ordinary local teahouses for your food and accommodations during the trekking. The rooms are neat. Bathrooms are outside and need to share with other people. Certain items of foods are mentioned on the menu, and you need to find the food of your choice.

    • Day01

      Drive to Kade( 1,770 meters) and trek to Forest Camp (2,100 meters)

      We drive to Kande after we have breakfast at hotel in Pokhara. This drive takes 1.30 hrs. We ascend via picturesque traditional settlements and lush forest to Asutralian Camp. The arrival at Australian Camp makes us so delighted that we can witness Annapurna massif and Machhapuchhre so close. We continue our walk via deeper rhododendron and get to Pothana. Pathana has a permit check point. After getting our permits checked at Pothana, we head to Forest Camp. Now, form Pothana, the landscapes become wider and winder. We still celebrate our walk via lush forest and magnificent Annapurna and Machhapuchhre. Overnight at teahouse at Forest Camp.

    • Day02

      Forest Camp to High Camp (3,200 meters)

      Today, the trail turns to be, more or less challenging. However, trekkers love to walk via lush forest, natural water falls, enjoying the melody of some species of birds and experiencing country life of the people.  We will encounter with very scanty settlements and teahouse today. But, the Annapurna and Machhapuchhre are dominant throughout the day. Overnight at teahouse at High Camp.

    • Day03

      High Camp (4,100 meters) to Mardi Himal Base Camp back to High Camp (4,500 meters)

      Today’s trail is the most challenging portion of this trip. Today,  we have to encounter with a bit slippery mountain trail while heading from High Camp to Mardi Himal Base Camp. From Mardi Himal Base Camp, we enjoy capturing mesmerizing Mardi Himal, Machhapuchhre and Annapurna. After spending some time at Mardi Himal Base Camp, we descend to High Camp for overnight stay. Overnight at teahouse at High Camp.

    • Day04

      High Camp to Dhampus

      We trek back along the same trail till we get Pothana. We pass Pothana and trek to Dhampus. We do not go to Australian Camp this time. Dhampus is also a beautiful village and viewpoint to see Annapurna and Machhapuchhre. With the stunning sunrise in the morning, the snow-fed Machhapuchhre and Annapurna massif tend to magnificent from Dhampus. Overnight at guesthouse at Dhampus.

    • Day05

      Trek down to Phedi and drive back to Pokhara(2,100 meters)

      We descend via lush forest and traditional settlements to Phedi after breakfast. We walk down for 1.30 hrs and take a drive to Pokhara from Phedi.  Explore and stroll around Pokhara in the evening.
