Guides and porters are valuable members of any kind of exploration. You will totally have to rely on the help of these professionals when you are exploring an unfamiliar region. Similarly, for the Everest Base Camp Trek in Nepal, you will need the help of guides and porters to enjoy an enriching journey.
During your trek, your guides will generally handle all the aspects of your journey. From coordinating with the teams, managing logistics details, and ensuring a detailed journey to handling your safety and comfort level. They make sure that your trip will be a memorable experience where you don’t have to worry about anything.
Similarly, porters will take care of the heavy stuff during your trip. A porter is assigned to two trekkers in general ratio and will carry about 15 kg (33 lbs) worth of luggage of each trekker. They will help you travel light so you can actually enjoy the trip without worrying about all the weight.
Porters are also usually the locals of the region. It means that you will be able to gain insights into the hidden gems of the region and also understand a native perspective on culture, traditions, and nature.
Note: Although one porter is assigned for two trekkers, if you want to trek completely weight-free we can also arrange additional porters for you, which will cost extra.
