Nar Phu Valley Trekking starts with a drive from Kathmandu to reach the Mid-West of Nepal and then walking on the popular Annapurna Circuit trail for some days till our route branches off from the mainstream to reach remote and isolated country around Nar-Phu villages in the land where herds of blue sheep and snow leopard dwells with other rare mountain wildlife.
After leaving the main trail on the off-beaten trail near Chame, the district headquarters town of Manang, as walk leads into a narrow gorge covered with dense alpine forest, then suddenly opens up into a beautiful valley within arid and barren windswept terrain with awesome views.
Enjoying time at Phu villages visiting its old monasteries of great interest and wonders, then walk leads to its sister village of Nar, where our route leads to cross high and scenic Kang-la pass with a stunning panorama of landscapes and mountains and then walking back to the main Annapurna circuit trail to reach main Manang village.
Manang village is an interesting place to visit with its fascinating culture of Buddhism and Tibetan-style heritage enclosed within the great peaks of Annapurna and Chulus peaks, where a walk leads further west to climb the top of the highest pass and point of the adventure above Thorang-la pass at 5,416 m high.
With time to marvel at the beautiful scenery, a long descent to reach lower Mustang areas in holy Muktinath, where the walk completes with a short drive to nice Jomsom town, the headquarter of Mustang district and home of many Thakali people on this ancient Trans Himalayan Caravan and Trade route of Nepal and Tibet.
From Jomsom, our utmost adventure completes with a short scenic flight to land at the beautiful city of Pokhara by its famous Phewa Lakes, located beneath green hills and the massive range of Annapurna Himalaya.

Best Seasons to do Nar Phu Valley Trekking :
March to May and September to December are the best Nar Phu Valley trek season. Except for the monsoon wet months from mid-June to mid-September, trekking is done. March to May is the best time for clear views till the afternoon. At that time, wildflowers are in bloom with fantastic views of mountains. The day will be pleasant, but mornings and nights will be more relaxed.
October to December is another best time for trekking to Nar Phu Valley. One can get clear views of peaks with short sunlight days. While morning and nighttime will be cold. And this depends upon various altitudes for an overnight stop.
