I recently went on the Kathmandu Valley World Heritage Sites Tour with Eco Holidays Nepal, and it was far beyond what I expected. You might think it's impossible to see so many historic and cultural sites in just one day, but everything was perfectly planned, and I had enough time to truly enjoy each location without feeling rushed.
My guide, Sagar, was exceptional. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and took the time to explain the history and cultural significance of every site in great detail. From ancient temples and palaces to UNESCO-listed monuments, I felt completely immersed in the beauty and richness of the Kathmandu Valley.
One of the unexpected highlights of the day was the local food. I'm a bit of a foodie, and Sagar went out of his way to take me to some amazing hidden gems where I got to try the best of Newari cuisine. Even with the packed itinerary, we made time to enjoy authentic local flavors.
